Online Shamanic Journey Group
Four Wednesdays, May 27, June 3, 10, & 17
7 PM online through Zoom
This four-week group through Zoom is for those who have had experience (a little or a lot) with the shamanic journey and want to continue the practice during this time, for healing, insight and joy. This is less of of a "How To" class and more of a "Let's get at it" group. I will offer you journey structures and ideas you can use, or you can do your own work. We won't focus so much on sharing the content of your journeys in class, but on what you learned through the journey work, and on questions that arise for you. In all the class will be a good way to just work your spiritual path during this time. We will set up Facebook group where people can share their journeys if they wish, and dialogue with each other.
In each class we will have about 25 minutes of question-answer time about the technique of journeying or troubles or conundrums with it, or questions about shamanism. This kind of interaction is exceedingly helpful for all. We will conduct one or two journeys in each class. I'll offer you journey ideas to use between classes. The goal of the class is to give you ample opportunity to practice this amazing, life-enhancing spiritual practice.
If you are newer to journey practice, want to read more about the lower, upper and middle world journey techniques, etc., I can recommend Sandra Ingerman's Beginner's Guide.
We will meet online though the Zoom Platform. Because Zoom sounds a little funky with live drumming and even with recorded drumming played through the host's computer, when we journey, each of us will each student will use their own 12 minute audio of shamanic drumming to do their journey work. Then we will re-join the group to discuss. If you need a recorded drumming audio, I can send you one - just ask.
